Affecting Policy
Success in achieving climate stabilization and generating the investment needed to create sustainability at the community level will require significant action at the state, federal and international levels that complements local action rather than preempts or dilutes. As the debates on climate, energy, and sustainability policy continue to escalate, ICLEI will help assert the voice and priorities of local governments in key climate policies introduced nationally.
The ICLEI USA Action Center will be the home for the materials supporting national climate solutions and local action.
