Clean Air & Climate Protection Software Trainings

CACP Software Training

Page Title Image - CACP SoftwareIn conjunction with the National Association of Clean Air Agencies (NACAA) and the EPA’s State and Local Clean Energy-Environment Program, ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability conducts interactive web-based trainings on the Clean Air Climate Protection (CACP) software. These courses are offered free to ICLEI members, NACAA members as well as to members of the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC).

 

Requirements

Participants will log in to a secure website through which they will be able to view the contents of the trainer’s computer screen while listening to the training over the phone via a traditional conference call. Participants do not need to have downloaded or used the CACP software prior to the training. A high-speed internet connection is required.

This webinar will offer an introduction to using the CACP software, and is designed for new users or anyone hoping to brush up on the basics of using CACP to complete greenhouse gas emissions inventories for both government operations and whole communities as well, as forecasting future emissions and developing reports.

This course will take approximately 2 hours and will be offered Wednesday,May 29 from 12:30 to 2:30 EST (9:30-11:30 PST).

Modeling Emissions Reductions
& May 30

This webinar will include a discussion and analysis of how to quantify various greenhouse gas reduction measures available to state, regional and local governments using CACP. This will round out the introduction to the software started in the first course, will also be useful to those who would like a CACP refresher before beginning to develop a local climate action plan, or will provide a basis for those interested in using only the reduction measures function of the tool.

This course will take approximately 2 hours and will be offered Friday, May 30 from 12:30 to 2:30 EDT (9:30-11:30 PDT)
