Action Center

Greening municipal operations and infrastructure is of tremendous importance as we work together as a nation and the world to address global warming and sustainability. But it requires a community-wide response to achieve the cuts in greenhouse gas emissions that scientists tell us are necessary to stabilize the climate and to fulfill sustainability goals.

Local government leaders have a crucial role to play in galvanizing support – and action – from the community at large. Effectively communicating the goals you have set and the role that every citizen has to play in reaching those goals will determine your ultimate achievements.
