Thumbnail: Greenfield buildingA Vision of Future Transportation Along the Connecticut River Valley

The ICLEI-led Transportation and Climate Change project brings together more than 20 communities and regional planning organizations from four states along the Connecticut River Valley corridor who want to improve the region’s quality of life and decrease greenhouse gas emissions by reducing car and truck trips throughout the corridor. This group is working diligently to implement a range of initiatives by 2020, including smart growth and improved passenger and freight rail service along the corridor.
