International Work
ICLEI is a global organization with local government members and staff around the world, and ICLEI USA is proud to be involved in supporting local climate action and sustainability worldwide in concert with our international colleagues.
Some of the ICLEI USA international projects:
- Leading the development of the international Local Governments Greenhouse Gas Emissions Protocol
- Launched World Mayors and Local Governments Climate Protection Agreement
- Partnered on the C40 Large Cities Climate Summit in May 2007
- Hosted a Local Government Climate Session in Bali at the UN Climate Change Conference in 2007
- Co-direct ICLEI’s international climate work
